I worked with the Undocumented Women’s Fund in NYC, who, along with a coalition of other orgs in NYC, organized a Woman’s Strike activity day to celebrate International Woman’s Day. This year’s theme was based around the ideas of care work and labor—honoring the work that gets overlooked by society and is usually done by low-income and immigrant women.
